What is Elden Ring

Elden Ring is an open-world action role-playing game released in 2022 by Japanese studio From Software.

The video game was born out of lead developer Hidetaka Miyazaki's desire to work with George R.R. Martin, best known for the fantasy saga A Song of Ice and Fire, to create a video game in which the writer is responsible for the backstory and mythology.
